CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A woman was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence with two young children in her vehicle following a crash on June 17.
Tiara Person, 33, reportedly crashed her vehicle into a utility pole on Cheviot Road. Authorities said the impact caused extensive damage to the vehicle and deployed the airbags.
The incident occurred while the two children, both under 5 years old, were inside the car. Investigators claim Person was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the crash, creating a substantial risk to the children's safety.
Person faces charges of child endangerment, operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and driving under a financial responsibility suspension. According to court records, her bond is set at $2,500 at 10% or electronic monitoring unit (EMU) for the OVI and child endangerment charges.
She was released on her own recognizance regarding the financial responsibility suspension charges. The investigation is ongoing.
