CINCINNATI (WKRC) — On June 17, Tiara Person, 29, was arrested for DUI after crashing into a utility pole on Cheviot Road while transporting two children under 5.
According to authorities, Person faces multiple charges including child endangerment, operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and driving under a financial responsibility suspension.
Witnesses reported that the collision resulted in significant damage to the vehicle and deployed airbags. The two children were confirmed to be inside the vehicle at the time, leading investigators to conclude Person’s actions posed a substantial threat to their safety.
Court records indicate that Person’s bond was set at $2,500 with an option for electronic monitoring on the child endangerment and OVI charges. She was released on her own recognizance regarding the suspension and reasonable control charges.
Emergency responders were at the scene to assess the accident, but no injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing.
