Cincinnati Woman Charged with DUI After Crash Involving Two Young Children.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A Cincinnati woman was arrested for driving under the influence with two children aged 4 and 3 in her vehicle before crashing into a utility pole on June 17.

Tiara Person, 29, was arraigned in Hamilton County Municipal Court on charges of child endangerment, Operating a Vehicle under the Influence (OVI), driving under a financial responsibility suspension, and failure to maintain reasonable control.

According to a court affidavit, the crash occurred near Cheviot Road, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and deploying the airbags. Witnesses reported that the two children were inside at the time of the incident.

Authorities stated that Person’s alleged actions posed a significant risk to the children’s safety.

Court records indicate that her bond was set at $2,500 at 10% or the option of an electronic monitoring unit for both the child endangerment and OVI charges. She was released on her own recognizance for the suspension and reasonable control charges.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information about potential injuries has been released.
