Vermont Motorcycle Crash Pins 20-Year-Old Under Truck.

RICHFORD, VT — A 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Monday evening, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 5:13 p.m. on Troy Street near Liberty Street. Police reported that the motorcyclist, identified as Adam Blodgett of Fairfax, was pinned under the truck following the collision.

First responders were able to extricate Blodgett and transport him to the University of Vermont Medical Center. He was reported in critical but stable condition, according to state police.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Blodgett was traveling eastbound on his Suzuki GSX-R600 when he crossed into the opposite lane and collided with an International LT62F Truck heading west. The truck's driver, 62-year-old Mark McNally of Woodbury, was unharmed.
