URBANDALE, Iowa — A woman has died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on September 25.
Jasmira Kadic, 60, succumbed to her injuries after being struck along with another pedestrian at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the 4300 block of 86th Street, according to the Urbandale Police Department. Both pedestrians were seriously injured and received medical attention at a local hospital.
Investigators reported that the pedestrians were crossing 86th Street north of Aurora Avenue when a northbound vehicle hit them. The driver, who was uninjured, remained at the scene of the incident.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
