MADISONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) — One person sustained critical injuries in a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday on Red Bank and Duck Creek.
According to CINCY FIRE & EMS, a car collided with the rear of the bus. Emergency crews rescued the occupant of the passenger vehicle, who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A photo shared by the department shows the car partially wedged under the bus.
Authorities reported that deputies were pursuing the vehicle on Interstate 71 just before the crash occurred. The driver is believed to be in his 20s.
As of Wednesday evening, the condition of the driver remains unknown. No other individuals were reported injured in the incident.
