TRAFFIC: Multiple Incidents Causing Delays on I-264 in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Traffic delays are impacting multiple routes on I-264 Wednesday afternoon.
According to TRIMARC, a crash involving two vehicles occurred on I-264 West at the 1.9 mile marker, just before River Park Drive, around 5 p.m. The two right lanes and right shoulder are currently blocked. Fire and EMS are on the scene.
This area is serving as a detour route due to the ongoing two-month shutdown of I-65. Additionally, a vehicle fire on I-264 East, approaching I-71, is contributing to slow traffic, with only one lane open.
Authorities advise drivers to expect extended delays in both areas for at least the next hour.
