FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A tractor-trailer crashed into a median wall Friday morning on the West Virginia Turnpike, causing significant delays.
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes at mile marker 63 near Mossy at approximately 11:20 a.m. Officials confirmed that the left lane was blocked following the accident.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS), local police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene. No injuries have been reported, according to authorities.
The crash resulted in traffic backups, and lane closures remain in effect while the area is cleared. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
