JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — A commercial vehicle inspector sustained injuries in a crash early Wednesday morning on State Route 32.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Kessinger School Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that 34-year-old Kenneth Plowman, of Wellston, Ohio, was operating a cruiser westbound when he veered into the median, crossed the eastbound lanes, and collided with a ditch.
Plowman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Jackson hospital before being flown to a Columbus facility for further treatment.
Emergency crews closed the roadway for over an hour to clear the scene, but it has since reopened. The accident remains under investigation by authorities.
