Man charged with aggravated assault following alleged crash into ex-partner's vehicle.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested for allegedly crashing into his ex-partner's vehicle while violating a protective order on April 26.

According to the arrest affidavit, Carlos Rodriguez Jr. faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident on Marbach Road.

Authorities reported that Rodriguez followed the woman, attempting to attract her attention by yelling at her. After she entered a parking lot near Marbach Oaks, witnesses said Rodriguez demanded she exit her vehicle.

Rodriguez then returned to his vehicle and crashed into hers, causing injuries. The woman reported pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest.

A female passenger in the woman's vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury and bruises to her hand and knee.

Rodriguez has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to authorities.
