Man Charged with Aggravated Assault Following Collision with Ex-Partner's Vehicle.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested for allegedly crashing into his ex-partner's vehicle in violation of a protective order on April 26.

According to authorities, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., 31, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident on Marbach Road.

Rodriguez allegedly followed the female victim, yelling for her to “talk to him,” as she entered a parking lot near Marbach Oaks.

Witnesses reported that after demanding she exit her vehicle, Rodriguez returned to his vehicle and collided with hers.

The victim complained of pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest. A female passenger in her vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury and bruises to her hand and knee.

Rodriguez was subsequently arrested and is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
