Woman Killed in Soap Lake Crash on State Route 28

Soap Lake, WA. – A Grant County woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision near Soap Lake on Thursday evening.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 7:25 p.m. on State Route 28.

A sports driven by a 59-year-old Moses Lake man ran a stop sign and hit an SUV driven by a 39-year-old Soap Lake woman.

The impact of the collision caused the SUV to crash into a utility pole, while the sports car ended up in a roadside ditch.

The woman died at the accident scene.

The sports car driver was seriously injured and to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

More details about the accident were not released.
