Two teenagers injured in Montgomery County crash with semi-truck.

Two teenagers were following a vehicle crash in Montgomery County on Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 4:08 p.m. on Interstate 70 at mile marker 172.

Authorities said a 2022 Kenworth T680 merged into the left lane unsafely, colliding with a 2015 Grand Cherokee.

Both drivers were unharmed, but two 15-year-old females in the Jeep sustained serious injuries and were to a local hospital.

According to MSHP, all individuals involved were wearing seatbelts during the incident.
