FREMONT, NH — A Massachusetts man died following an ATV crash on the Rockingham Recreation Trail Saturday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2 p.m. after a report of an injured rider. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, alongside local police and firefighters, located the victim and transported him out of the area.
David Febres, 55, of Dracut, Massachusetts, was subsequently airlifted to Eliot Hospital in Manchester, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation. Authorities urge ATV riders to assess their experience, trail conditions, weather, and time of day before setting out.
