One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Boone County early Wednesday morning.
According to the Columbia Police Department (CPD), the incident occurred around midnight on Route B near Waco Road.
The vehicle was traveling south when it crossed traffic lines, jumped the median, and struck a traffic control pole.
The driver, 20-year-old Mohamed Abdalla of Columbia, was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries on April 2.
