Three-Vehicle Collision Injures Two in Downtown San Diego
San Diego, CA – Authorities reported that a three-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 5 southbound at 4:15 p.m. on October 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a sedan, an SUV, and a pickup truck. Emergency medical responders transported two individuals to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident prompted lane closures on the southbound side of the freeway for approximately 45 minutes while the scene was cleared and an investigation took place. Towing services were dispatched to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No fatalities were reported.
