Speeding Cadillac Crash Injures Two in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A two-vehicle crash involving a speeding Cadillac occurred at 2:41 p.m. on Saturday, leading to two confirmed injuries.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, the incident took place on West 12th Street near Redwood Avenue. Authorities reported that the Cadillac lost control, ran off the road, collided with a parked vehicle, and subsequently struck a tree.
Emergency responders from the Kansas City Fire Department treated two occupants of the Cadillac at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
The parked vehicle involved incurred significant damage, and a tow truck was called to remove both vehicles from the site.
Authorities shut down the eastbound lane of West 12th Street for approximately 40 minutes while clearing the wreckage and conducting an investigation. As of now, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Kansas City Police Department.
