A police pursuit in west Phoenix on January 31 ended with multiple injuries after a car collided with several vehicles.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident began around 2:41 p.m. and involved a suspect vehicle that initially struck a police vehicle before fleeing the scene. The vehicle subsequently collided with three other cars while traveling westbound on Interstate 10 near 27th Avenue.
Authorities reported that at least five individuals were hospitalized with varying injuries, including two occupants of the suspect vehicle. Emergency medical services from the Phoenix Fire Department responded promptly to the scene.
Significant lane closures occurred on the westbound I-10 following the incident as emergency crews worked. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and subsequent collisions.
