A multi-vehicle crash on Route 101 in Berkeley resulted in multiple injuries and significant lane closures this afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved three vehicles, including a sedan and a pickup truck, just before 2:30 p.m.
Initial reports indicate at least four individuals sustained injuries; specific conditions have not been released.
Emergency responders, including Berkeley Fire Department and ambulances, arrived on the scene shortly after the incident to provide medical aid and transport the injured.
Authorities confirmed that the pickup truck was traveling in the wrong direction when it struck the other vehicles.
