Delaware State Police Investigate Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Near Laurel

A two-vehicle crash near Laurel on Sept. 15 resulted in one fatality, Delaware State Police reported.
The collision occurred at approximately 6:14 p.m. when 54-year-old Amy Sier of Mardela Springs, Maryland, driving a Honda HR-V southbound on Old Stage Road, was struck by a Ford Maverick that failed to stop at a stop sign. Emergency responders transported Sier to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating the crash. Authorities urge anyone with information or related video footage to contact Master Corporal J. Smith at (302) 703-3267.
