SAN ANTONIO — Man Arrested for Allegedly Crashing Vehicle into Former Partner's While Violating Protective Order

Authorities arrested Carlos Rodriguez Jr. on April 26 for allegedly crashing his vehicle into his former partner's on Marbach Road.

According to an arrest affidavit, Rodriguez, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, followed the woman after she drove into a parking lot near Marbach Oaks. He reportedly yelled for her to “talk to him” before demanding she exit her vehicle.

Rodriguez then returned to his vehicle and collided with the woman's car, causing her to report pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest. A female passenger in the woman's vehicle was taken to a local hospital, suffering from a head bump and bruises on her hand and knee.

Rodriguez now faces charges related to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
