SAN ANTONIO — Carlos Rodriguez Jr. was arrested for aggravated assault after allegedly crashing into his former partner's vehicle on April 26.
According to an arrest affidavit, the incident occurred on Marbach Road when Rodriguez, 30, violated an active protective order. Witnesses reported that he followed his former partner, yelling for her to “talk to him.”
After the woman entered the parking lot near Marbach Oaks, Rodriguez allegedly demanded she get out of her vehicle. He then returned to his vehicle and collided with hers.
The woman reported experiencing pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest. A female passenger in her vehicle suffered injuries, including a bump on the head and bruises on her hand and knee, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that Rodriguez is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently in custody.
