WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — Rhode Island State Police reported a DUI-related crash on the ramp to Route 37 early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. near Exit 31, involving two vehicles.
Authorities charged 22-year-old Joshua Bartholomew with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs.
One driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The crash resulted from a wrong-way operator, according to police.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
