JACKSON, NJ – A crash involving a Jackson Building Department SUV occurred Thursday afternoon on South Cooksbridge Road.
According to the Jackson Police Department, Ronald Miller, 52, lost control of the vehicle around 2:41 p.m. The SUV veered off the roadway, resulting in significant damage.
Authorities reported that Miller sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no fatalities were reported.
Emergency services, including the Jackson Fire Department, responded to the scene to assist.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle left the roadway at a high rate of speed, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
As a result of the incident, South Cooksbridge Road experienced temporary lane closures, with traffic being diverted away from the area while cleanup and investigation took place. Tow services were on-site to clear the damaged vehicle.
