HARRISBURG — A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 76 resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to state police.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the westbound side near Exit 3, involving four vehicles, including a pickup truck and a passenger sedan.
Authorities confirmed that a 34-year-old man from Lancaster was pronounced dead at the scene, while three additional occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical services transported the injured to a nearby hospital.
The westbound lanes of I-76 were closed for several hours as investigators reconstructed the crash. Clean-up efforts began shortly after the incident, with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation assisting in lane clearing.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed as of now, according to officials.
