A single-vehicle accident occurred in Miller County early Sunday morning, leaving one man critically injured.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that a 2017 Canam Outlander was traveling east on Daffodile Lane, west of Rabbit Head Road, around midnight.
The vehicle drifted off the left side of the roadway, colliding with a barbed wire fence and ejecting the 49-year-old driver from Iberia.
The driver sustained critical injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
MSHP continues to investigate the incident.
