Eugene Mirman was hospitalized following a fiery car crash on March 31, 2026, in New Hampshire.
According to the New Hampshire Division of State Police, the incident occurred around 11:55 a.m. at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike. Emergency responders pulled the 51-year-old actor from an engulfed vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that a veteran State Trooper, part of Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail, arrived on the scene and rescued Mirman through a window. “Their actions were heroic… they put themselves in danger to render aid,” State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall stated.
Mirman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A representative shared, “Eugene is grateful for the bystanders, first responders, and hospital staff who saved him” and requested privacy for his family during his recovery.
The crash is under investigation, but no charges have been filed as of yet.
