LOVES PARK, Ill. (WREX) — A motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 25-year-old Rockford man on Friday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on June 26, in the 800 block of E. Riverside Blvd. According to authorities, the motorcyclist was initially treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Winnebago County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Marco Torres. An autopsy revealed he died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
Loves Park Police and the Winnebago County Coroner's Office are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
