CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — An 18-year-old motorcyclist was following a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening on US20-26.

The incident occurred at 6:17 p.m. near milepost 25 at the intersection with Smeed Parkway, according to Idaho State Police. A 44-year-old Caldwell woman was driving a 2021 RDX westbound on US20-26 and turned left onto Smeed Parkway, colliding with an eastbound 2019 CBR300 ridden by the Caldwell man.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was to a local hospital. The driver of the , who was wearing a seat belt, reported no injuries.

Emergency crews blocked the intersection for approximately two hours while responding to the incident. The crash remains under investigation.
