MINOT — A high-speed crash in Minot early Saturday morning has resulted in a fatality.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Seth Parana, 21, of Minot, was driving a 2021 Tesla Model Y northbound on the U.S. Highway 83 bypass near Fourth Avenue Northwest around 2:57 a.m. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed.
Despite wearing a seat belt, Parana sustained fatal injuries. Emergency responders, including Minot Fire Department, Minot Police Department, Ward County Sheriff's Office, and Trinity First Response, were dispatched to the scene.
The Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
