MINOT, ND – A 21-year-old Minot man died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, Aug. 2.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver was operating a 2021 Tesla SUV northbound on the Highway 83 bypass near Fourth Avenue Northwest when the vehicle veered off the roadway at approximately 2:41 a.m., traveling at a high rate of speed.
Despite wearing a seatbelt, the driver sustained fatal injuries. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
