BOWMAN COUNTY, N.D. — Timothy Pendergrass, 67, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 12 west of Bowman on July 3.
The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. at mile marker 30 westbound, as reported by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Authorities believe Pendergrass experienced a medical incident, which led his 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 to leave the roadway and strike a tree in the ditch.
Pendergrass was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Road and weather conditions were normal. He was transported to Bowman Hospital by Bowman Ambulance Service, where he was pronounced dead.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the incident.
