WATFORD CITY — A woman was killed in a T-bone collision involving a semi-truck at an intersection near Watford City on Saturday, April 25.
The incident occurred at 1:33 p.m., as reported by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. A 2017 Peterbilt semi, operated by a 62-year-old man from Dickinson, was heading south on Highway 85, approaching the intersection with 23rd Street NW.
Simultaneously, a 1983 Jeep driven by a 63-year-old woman from Watford City was traveling east on 23rd Street NW when the semi struck her vehicle at the intersection.
The driver of the Jeep suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The semi driver was uninjured and is currently under investigation for potential charges.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the collision.
