FATAL ACCIDENT CLOSES I-69 IN FISHERS
FISHERS, IN (Oct. 12, 2023) — A fatal accident closed all southbound lanes of I-69 near Fishers for over four hours Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. near the ramp for 116th Street/State Road 37. According to Indiana State Police, multiple vehicles struck an individual who did not survive. The victim has not been identified.
Emergency responders included Indiana State Police and local medical units. The interstate reopened to traffic around 9:30 a.m., following lane clearances.
