HEBER, Utah (KUTV) — A fatal collision between a FedEx truck and a passenger vehicle shut down lanes on U.S. 40 north of Heber on Monday evening, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. near mile marker 50. Authorities confirmed that at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency response teams from local agencies were dispatched, and the Utah Department of Transportation reported that one lane remained open for northbound and southbound traffic. Increased delays are expected between Park City and Heber as crews continue to clear the area.
