JOELTON, Tenn. (WTVF) — A crash involving an overturned commercial motor vehicle has reduced I-24 westbound to one lane near mile marker 34.
Authorities reported that the trailer has been uprighted, and crews are currently in the process of pumping diesel fuel from the refiner tank before the truck can be removed from the scene. As of now, the right lane remains blocked.
The estimated time for full clearance is 2 p.m. Emergency response teams are on-site to manage the situation and ensure safety. No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
