FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A collision between a school bus and an SUV on Thursday afternoon resulted in four hospitalizations.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Whiteway Dairy and Hartman roads.
Authorities confirmed that four individuals, including two children in the SUV, were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Five Port St. Lucie High School students were on the bus but did not sustain any injuries.
Parents arrived at the scene to retrieve the students. The bus driver also remained unharmed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
