LEWIS TOWNSHIP, PA (May 23, 2023) — Julian Fleming, a former Ohio State wide receiver, faces multiple criminal charges, including vehicular homicide, following an ATV crash that resulted in the death of his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, 23.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred in Columbia Township, Pennsylvania, when a deer entered the roadway, causing Fleming to lose control of the vehicle. Neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing safety equipment at the time of the crash. Boyd died at the scene, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Fleming is charged with homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, and aggravated assault by vehicle, among other offenses, as detailed by WNEP-ABC.
Fleming, 24, transferred to Penn State after four seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes. He signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in April 2025. The investigation is ongoing.
