OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. — A 53-year-old man from Indiana was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on I-44.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:34 a.m. near mile marker 315, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). Authorities confirmed that Alejandro Martinez, from Indianapolis, was the deceased driver.
The other vehicle's driver sustained injuries but details regarding their condition have not been released. Both vehicles were unoccupied by passengers at the time of the incident.
Investigators are currently gathering evidence to determine the cause of the crash. There are no reports of lane closures or roadblocks as a result of the incident.
