HOOKSETT, NH — A 42-year-old woman from Manchester died in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Route 3 near the interchange with I-93 northbound. The woman's vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail, resulting in fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency response teams from the Hooksett Fire Department and local police arrived shortly after the crash was reported. The left lane of Route 3 was closed for several hours while authorities conducted an investigation and cleared the wreckage.
Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle swerve prior to the crash. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
