LONDONDERRY, NH — A motorcyclist sustained multiple life-threatening injuries in a crash on Interstate 93 on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. when a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided near Exit 4. According to the New Hampshire State Police, the motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man, was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash.
Emergency responders from the Londonderry Fire Department arrived at the scene and provided medical aid. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck, a 42-year-old man, reported no injuries.
Authorities said the southbound lanes of I-93 were closed for about an hour as crews cleared the scene and conducted an investigation. Traffic was diverted at Exit 4 during this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The State Police are asking any witnesses to come forward with information.
