DOVER, N.H. — A crash involving a plow truck resulted in injuries to two individuals on the Spaulding Turnpike on Friday morning.
According to State Police, a pickup truck collided with the rear of a Department of Transportation plow truck that was clearing the left breakdown lane around 7:30 a.m. The driver of the pickup was trapped inside until emergency crews arrived and later transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The plow truck driver was also taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluation.
Emergency responders included local fire and rescue teams. As a result of the incident, the left breakdown lane was closed temporarily for an investigation and vehicle recovery.
