COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was killed and several others injured in a crash Thursday at the intersection of East N Avenue and South 29th Street.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the scene around 11:30 a.m. The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and multiple passengers of the other vehicle were taken to local hospitals with injuries.
Authorities reported that speed may have been a contributing factor to the crash, although it remains unclear which vehicle was speeding.
The identities of those involved have not yet been released. The incident is currently under investigation.
