One man was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Ralls County on Saturday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
The incident occurred at 8:49 p.m. when a 2018 GMC Sierra traveling eastbound on Route A, approximately two miles west of New London, veered off the roadway.
The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned, resulting in injuries to the driver.
The 23-year-old male driver, a resident of Center, Mo., was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The roadway was temporarily closed as emergency services responded and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, MSHP reported.
