Giuliani Injured in New Hampshire Car Crash

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Rudy Giuliani, 81, is recovering from multiple injuries, including fractured vertebrae, after a car crash in New Hampshire on Saturday evening.

According to Michael Ragusa, Giuliani's head of security, his vehicle was rear-ended while traveling on a highway. He sustained injuries but is reportedly in good spirits. Ragusa confirmed the accident was not a targeted attack.

Giuliani was transported to a nearby trauma center where he received treatment for a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg.

Prior to the crash, Giuliani had been flagged down by a woman involved in a domestic violence situation and contacted law enforcement on her behalf. Ragusa clarified that the subsequent collision was random and unrelated to the earlier incident.

Giuliani was driving a rental car, and Ragusa noted that no one recognized him at the time of the accident. Andrew Giuliani, Rudy's son, expressed gratitude on social media for the support received regarding his father's condition, stating, “Your prayers mean the world.”

Ragusa reassured the public about Giuliani's recovery, confirming that he will be released in a few days and plans to return to work later this week.
