Two Toddlers in Critical Condition Following Douglas County Crash
DOUGLAS COUNTY, KS — Two toddlers remain in critical condition after a three-vehicle crash on K-10 Highway Wednesday night at approximately 8:15 p.m.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident involved a minivan, a pickup truck, and a sedan. Emergency responders transported the two children, both under 5 years old, to a local hospital with serious injuries. Their identities have not been released.
Authorities reported that two adults sustained minor injuries in the collision but refused medical treatment at the scene.
The crash resulted in lane closures for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage. Towing services were called in to remove the vehicles involved.
