TOWN OF ALBION, Wis. — One person died and two others were injured in a crash on I-39/90 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The crash occurred at 3:21 p.m. at US Highway 51, east of Stoughton. Authorities reported that a southbound car crossed the median and collided with a northbound truck. One passenger in the car was confirmed dead at the scene.
All lanes of northbound I-39/90 were closed following the incident but reopened shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Wisconsin State Patrol is actively investigating the crash. Further details regarding the injuries and the identity of the deceased passenger have not yet been released.
