King William County, VA. – Injuries were reported in a collision involving a school bus on Wednesday morning in West Point.
According to the West Point Police Department, the accident happened around 7:23 a.m. near Glass Island Road.
A West Point School Board bus was stopped while making a turn when a second vehicle rear-ended it.
46 children were on the bus at the time of the crash.
A child was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the second vehicle was charged with failure to maintain proper control of the vehicle.
