Mililani, HI — October 10, 2023 — A single-vehicle crash in Mililani on Tuesday resulted in one fatality when a car struck a tree.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Kamehameha Highway. The vehicle was traveling east when it veered off the road and collided with a tree. The 76-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver sustained minor injuries.
Emergency response included personnel from the Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu Police Department. Multiple lanes were closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation.
