A private plane crash near Steamboat Springs on Feb. 26 resulted in the deaths of two prominent Middle Tennessee businessmen and two 21-year-old men, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.
The preliminary report indicates the pilot may have inadvertently attempted a prohibited approach during nighttime conditions.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after the incident, confirming all four occupants were deceased. No additional injuries were reported.
